VIDEO - Two New Political Subversities Videos!
April 1, 2013
Political Subversities just released two new videos! A new music video presented by Comediva and a behind-the-scenes PoliSub Talks video that I shot, directed and edited myself! I'm not a featured performer in either one, but I'm incredibly proud of my co-creators in the company for pulling off so much so well.
WEB SERIES - Started Shooting on Web Series "Going Gold"
March 30, 2013
I'm playing a recurring character in 5 episodes of the new satrical web series Going Gold. It follows the PR inner workings of a successful video game company. I play Henry O'Neill, an investigator with an industry oversight organization assigned to Kraken Games' office. Today we shot episode two, in which my character is introduced. We're shooting a new episode every weekend through the end of April! You can follow the production on twitter @GoingGoldSeries.
FILM - Supporting Role in "Addiction to Payne"
March 24, 2013
Finished another day of shooting on 9.8 Productions' first project, an independently produced feature length film called "An Addiction To Payne". I play the supporting role of Roger, a low-ambition 20-something who lives with his parents and works at his uncle's deli. It's been a lot of fun so far and I'm looking forward to my last shooting day in a couple of weeks!
FILM - Indie Feature "Straight Out of Tompkins"
March 23, 2013
Today was my primary shooting day for independent feature film Straight Out of Tompkins. Some highlights include my character shooting a skinhead (with a Desert Eagle!) and shooting up coke in the bathroom. The script and creative team behind the project are really incredible. I can't wait to see the finished product! I have one more day of shooting Tuesday before I'm wrapped.
THEATER - KnightWatch at the Cathedral of Saint John the Divine
March 22, 2013
Tonight I played a jester in a really neat environmental play and scavenger-hunt for kids at The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine. I was cast a couple weeks ago, generally to understudy the male roles, but specifically to fill in tonight for the actor who normally plays the role of the hapless court jester leading an audience of children and adults around the Cathedral seeking clues and solving puzzles. The show is under an hour, but the kids' and families spend ALL NIGHT in the Cathedral. You can read more about it in Scooter Magazine.
I don't know when I will perform with the company again, but I'm excited to have joined their ranks. The creative team behind KnightWatch is planning to embark on new projects at the Cathedral in the coming year, so I'm looking forward to spending some more time in one of my favorite buildings in New York!
THEATER - Workshop of a New Play by Kristine Haruna Lee
March 12, 2013
I just finished a three-day workshop of a new play by one of my most consistent collaborators, playwright and director Kristine Haruna Lee. The play is called Plum de Force and it's pretty wild. We spent some time exploring witches, invented drugs, performance art, plums, Peter Pan, and identity politics through a whole lot of devising, choreography, improvisation and conversation.
Be on the lookout for the premier of the show this fall! I don't think I can reveal the details yet, but it's slated for production at an awesome theater in Brooklyn!
Welcome to my brand spankin' new website!

Thanks for being here!
This site was designed and built by the incredible and dependable Paul Stoffer. (I highly recommend working with this man.) And almost every photo you'll find is the work of the wildly talented Sasha Arutyunova. (Most of what's here are headshots, production stills, promo shots, etc but she also creates the most beautiful personal work. Check out her site!)
I'm resisting the urge to backtrack about news, which is hard because I have so many excellent things going on and a few of them just finished. I can't resist sharing that I just closed the world premier of a new play by Jaclyn Backhaus with director John Kurzynowski's up-and-coming downtown company Theater Reconstruction Ensemble. It got rave reviews and the last week of our run was completely sold out at SoHo Rep's theater, Walkerspace.
You can see some photos of it here!
