Political Subversities

Featured on MSNBC, HuffingtonPost, BuzzFeed, College Humor and Funny or Die, Political Subversities creates comedy about politics, culture and current events in our long-running NYC live show, and in sketches and music videos on our YouTube channel PoliSub.

Political Subversities' live performance is a musical-sketch comedy show that serves up a spectacular roast of politics and pop-culture; a barrage of satirical sketches, political love songs, gangsta raps, Broadway-worthy show stoppers, and cultural assassinations. Political Subversities has been performing on a regular basis since 2009 at Joe's Pub, Ars Nova, 92Y Tribeca, UCBT and The PIT. The show was conceived in 2006 by Obie winning, Tony nominated composer/writer/director Elizabeth Swados.

Political Subversities' YouTube Channel features sketches and music videos that have been featured on Huffington Post, College Humor, Gawker, BuzzFeed, Gothamist, and countless other blogs and sites.

I've been writing and performing for the duration of the group's current incarnation, birthed in the summer of 2009. I also direct and edit some of our videos. Check out a few of our favorites below and get more information about us on our website: www.politicalsubversities.com
