Rags Parkland is a science-fiction folk-concert musical in which I play a singer-songwriter performing several hundred years in the future. Imagine if Woody Guthrie sang Philip K. Dick novels, and you've pretty much got Rags Parkland. I am currently working on new Rags material with director Jordan Fein in Fresh Ground Pepper's PlayGround PlayGroup. You can get a taste of Rags in the three minute reel below, cut from the show's first performance at Ars Nova's Ant Fest in 2010.
Rags Parkland has performed at Ars Nova and at JACK. Smaller portions of the show have been performed at various venues around the city. The show is suitable for theater or music venues and is flexible in length. Listen to some of Rags' songs here.
